Gary specialises in indirect taxation, and in particular, GST and stamp duty. He has extensive experience in advising on the indirect tax consequences and opportunities arising from a broad range of transactions, including major property sales, infrastructure projects, and mergers and acquisitions.

Gary is a member of the Australian Taxation Office Public Rulings Panel in relation to rulings on Goods and Services Tax. He is also the author of GST: Insurance and Financial Services, an expert commentary and analysis on GST’s application to the financial services industry.
