Michael is a partner in the Corporate Advisory practice and a member of the Financial Services Industry Division leadership team. He brings over eleven years of experience in wealth management to some of Australia’s leading product providers and financial services entities. Michael also has corporate experience from secondments in Sydney and Melbourne as in-house Legal Counsel at AMP Financial Services, National Australia Bank/MLC and BT Financial Group.

Michael's practice focuses on superannuation, life insurance, funds management, financial services reform and tax. He advises in all areas of law affecting his practice, including trusts and equity; regulatory laws, particularly the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act, the Corporations Act and the Life Insurance Act; and relevant tax laws. His clients include specialist fund managers (domestic and foreign), major banks and other financial services providers, life insurance companies, administrators, custodians, and trustees of superannuation funds. His practice at Corrs straddles the Sydney and Melbourne markets and together with the national Financial Services team provides a first class service for clients who require specialist capabilities in this area.
