The Australian Women's leadership Symposium is held in five key locations throughout Australia and is dedicated to supporting a higher representation of female leadership throughout the Australian workforce and the broader community.

Corrs partner Kirsty Sutherland, was invited along to speak at this year’s Perth event, held on 15-16 September.

Kirsty spoke about Corrs’ approach to the Diversity in Leadership issue, and the journey the firm has gone on to reach the point where it has obtained its fourth consecutive EOWA citation as Employer of Choice for Women.

As a member of Corrs’ Board and a partner who utilises the firm’s flexible working arrangements, Kirsty was delighted to speak to the hundreds of women present at the event.

“The symposium provided me with an excellent forum to talk about Corrs’ achievements in this space, but more importantly, it gave me the opportunity to hear other women speak about the challenges they face, initiatives their companies have in place to promote gender equality and their own personal experiences as women in leadership positions. It’s a truly inspiring event that I was very proud to be a part of.”
