Here you will find all the information you need to apply for a seasonal clerk or graduate position.

The Sydney office only participates in the Summer Clerkship Recruitment scheme. Applications for the Seasonal Clerkship Program are open to all students in their penultimate year of law.

Corrs is signatory to the Law Institute of NSW guidelines for the recruitment of seasonal clerks and graduates.

Seasonal Clerkship Program

If your application is successful you will join the program in early December. The program runs for 11 weeks with a break over Christmas. The Seasonal Clerkship program is designed to give you as much exposure to Corrs as possible. You will participate in four two-week rotations, giving you exposure to all our legal divisions.

Corrs is signatory to the Queensland Law Society guidelines for the recruitment of seasonal clerks and graduates.

Seasonal Clerkship Program

Applications are open to all students in their penultimate year of their law degree with interviews taking place in Brisbane. If your application is successful, you will have the choice of either joining the program as a winter clerk in June/July, a spring clerk August/September or as a summer clerk in November/December, all of our clerkship programs run for three weeks.

Priority Offers

In accordance with the Graduate Recruitment Guidelines previous clerks and current staff will be eligible to receive a priority offer for 2013 graduate positions on Monday, 5 March 2012.

Market Offers

In accordance with the Queensland Law Society Guidelines, Corrs opens to the general market after the priority offer process. The key dates are:

If your application is successful, you will have the choice of either joining the program as a summer clerk in December for two weeks or as a winter clerk in July for three weeks.

Our standard hours are in your contract of employment but we believe that if you’re working into the evening too often, then we are not managing our resources as we should be. From 2008 we have added pro bono as a rotation our graduate program meaning that a group of our graduates from each state join the team of independent, not-for-profit legal referral services.
